This image is the deepest and sharpest view of our universe in infrared ever taken. JWST has focused on a peculiar region of space, a spot where space is heavily distorted by the gravitational force of a cluster of galaxies. This distortion has created a ‘lens’ effect, magnifying the area of space behind it. By looking at this magnified region, we can see far distant galaxies in detail. Every point of light in this image is a galaxy with the exception of the large ‘6-pointed’ lights, which are stars in our galaxy which got in the way. The area of the night sky that this image takes up is as tiny as a grain of sand held at arm’s length.

🚀 Space The picture we’ve all been waiting for. The first full resolution image taken by the brand new James Webb Space Telescope.

I’ve been in south Florida the last couple of days, so far I’ve seen beautiful wildlife, plant life and scenery in the western Everglades and in the eastern keys! I’ve seen mangrove crabs, bottlenose dolphins, manatees, roseated spoonbill, blue heron, magnificent frigatebird, great egret, and lots of fish species including (but not limited to) blue tang schools, barracudas, and parrotfish. also got to witness some great thriving ecosystems which is just so incredible

The stars are like letters that inscribe themselves at every moment in the sky. Everything in the world is full of signs. All events are coordinated. All things depend on each other. Everything breathes together.
